The Manufacturing Associate is responsible for safely operating manufacturing equipment used to produce solid oxide fuel cells; working throughout the manufacturing process; performing quality checks; working closely with other production floor personnel; maintaining record keeping; packing and shipping; and other miscellaneous items tasks. The Manufacturing Associate reports to the Manufacturing Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety-first mentality and follow all EH&S requirements. They will have some experience in a technical/manufacturing environment and have great attention to detail. The candidate should have good oral and written communication skills. They should be flexible and willing to adapt to dynamic situations. They should be eager to learn new skills. The candidate should also be comfortable using computers to perform data entry, access emails, and enter time. The Manufacturing Associate should have a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience working as a Manufacturing Associate in a technical environment is preferred. This is a full-time position paying $18 to $22 per hour depending on experience and will consist of four – 10 hour days per week with rotating 1st and 2nd shifts. 1st shift is early morning to afternoon, and 2nd shift is an afternoon to late evening.
